Baking Baking Baking....

Josie got her school pictures back. She said her hair isn't perfect and she doesn't like her teeth....But, I think they are just fine, so she won't be getting retakes.

 Landon's football team had their names printed on the back of their jerseys.

 Our sunflowers finally bloomed. Josie and I had planted them over spring break in pots we decorated in Sandpoint.

 Friday Josie invited her friend Gabby over to hang out. They started baking...and baking..and baking. by 8:30 I made them stop and that's when they came up with a great idea. They wanted to bake more on Saturday and then have a bake sale to raise money for a charity.

 Our kitchen became an official disaster.

Saturday morning Josie had a volleyball game and Landon had a football game. After, we stopped at the store and bought a bunch of stuff to bake. The girls made cupcakes, pound cake and brownies.

Gabby's family lost their house in the fire that was in Valleyford a couple of years ago. They had to relocate and they happen to relocate just down the road from us! Gabby can ride her bike to our house we are so close, which for where we live is rare. Gabby has a little sister who is in Landon's grade. Her name is Sophie. She came over to play with Landon while the girls were baking:)

 The girls even made posters for their sale.

 The girls decided to donate their money to Freeman School to help with anything they might need.

 They set up their stand at the Freeman Store.

 Landon hung out with Sophie at her house while we held down the sale at the store. Gabby's mom, Katrina brought the kids by so they could buy some goods. We sat outside for 3 hours and the girls made 63 dollars.

Landon made a book about himself at school. It was pretty funny. I was wondering why he drew Luke holding a machine gun in our family picture. Turns out, it's not a gun...It's walter, our dog:)

 When he grows up he wants to be a monster truck driver.

And his best quality is dirt biking...
