The last couple of weeks we had a bunch of snow and have been out enjoying it as much as possible. One thing I love about where we live is our view. I took this picture the other morning out my bedroom window as the sun was coming up.
After christmas my friend crystal and her son Nolan came out for some sledding. we have a pretty good sledding hill on our property so it's nice to just hit the slopes in our own backyard.

We took a break from sledding to visit my friend Dawn's new baby. She was born on the 19th of December. Josie loved holding the baby and told me that if we have a baby girl she will help me take care of it:)....I told her we will just visit other people's babies! Here is Josie with baby Payton.
Today we got about 8 or 9 inches of snow and they cancelled Josie's school. So my friend Lisa and her son Trent came out to visit and....Go Sledding!!....Carli and Lila joined us too. The snow was so deep it had covered our old sledding path so we had to remake the sledding hill. I was trying to pull landon in the red sled, but the snow was so deep, he just sunk in:)
Lisa brought a snow cone kit with her. So we made snow cones out of our own snow:)

Lisa was going to take a picture of me and right when she took it, landon threw a snowball right at my face! He thought that was pretty funny:)
We ended the day with chili and cornbread...topped off with hot chocolate for the kiddo's. We have been making the most of the snow and having a good time with friends in it too. Now back to work and school......bummer.
