A Change Has Come!!

We have some big news in our family and are very excited....Luke got a new job that is based in spokane..this means that he will actually live in spokane and better yet...live with josie and I. He randomly stumbled upon the position ( long story). He will be working for a company called ThyssenKrupp Safway. They are a scaffolding company and are located across the US. they are starting a heat and frost insulation department in the Northwest and Luke is going to be the Superintendant of that division. He will be traveling the NW managing, estimating and bidding commercial projects. This means he got a company truck and gas card!! There are many other perks, but as I type this he is on the job for his first day. So I won't find out more details until tonight when he gets to come home after work!! It has been over a year now that luke has been working and living in Moses Lake and we are very hopefull that this job will make the next year better than the last!! That is our big news....this weekend we went up to the pumpkin patch at Greenbluf, just north of spokane with our friends Debi and Cory and there son Cooper. Cooper just turned 1 in september. Josie and Cooper riding in the cart

Josie on the pony ride...lookin back to make sure cooper was there...Josie's horse started pooping during her ride...so all afternoon she kept saying ' my horse pooping mommy'...

They had pumpkin donuts, live music and pony rides..it was like a mini pumpkin fair! After, we came home and carved our pumpkins. I let josie draw the face on hers...

She thought the inside of the pumpkin was 'scary and gross'....such a girl...

Josie and daddy with the final product on our porch...which we also worked on this weekend...only one more pillar left to place stone on. we are trying to get it done before the snow fly's!!

Well, that was our weekend...I am excited to hear how luke's first day went and can't wait to see him drive up in his work truck and have dinner with us!!! what a concept huh? Next weekend we are headed to Ellensburg to go trick or treating downtown...until then, happy monday!
