I saw this the other day and had to laugh...This is totally me!
Friday night we went to Donkey Basketball at The Freeman High school. The staff and some highschool kids play basketball on donkeys. It is pretty funny to watch. The kids had a great time. Here are Josie and Landon with Emily.
Landon loves hanging out with all of josie's friends:) Here he is with Annie. He also loves Brooke and Mary, but wants to marry Emma:)
This picture turned out burry, but josie was excited to sit on a donkey.
Saturday Josie had a Soccer Tournament. She had a game at 12, 3 and 6. One of the parents brought their motorhome so that we could have a bbq and have a place for the girls to hang out inbetween games. I went into the motorhome and happened to see the bathtub...It was full of all the soccer shoes!
The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed a nice bbq.
I can't even imagine what the inside of the motorhome looked like after all the kids left.
The girls played great. Josie was excited to have a snow cone.
My friend took this picture of Landon watching the game.
The kids had washable marker so they thought it would be fun to write all over landon's arms.
Landon is in heaven amongst all these girls:)
Half way through the 2nd game the sky became dark and the wind picked up. All of a sudden lightning started striking very close to us. All the girls started screaming and some were crying:) The game was called and we all ran for our cars! We made it just in time before the sky's opened up and the rain came pouring down. They cancelled the rest of the tournament and we headed to round table pizza for awards. I was so proud of Josie. She was awarded Most Improved by her coach!! She has come so far and still loves soccer, so we will stick with it as long as she is having fun.
Josie had her ears pierced about 3 years ago. After a few months her right ear started to get infected. After several infections I made her take out her earrings and let her ears heal. Now, about once a month her ear lobe gets infected and then it will get better. I took her to the doctor and she said there is just some scar tissue in the lobe but nothing was seriously wrong with it. Josie has been bugging us to have her ears pierced again. We agreed and let her have them pierced again for her birthday. We told her that she has to leave them in for a long time and we made sure they were high quality earrings!
She wanted to celebrate with Annie's Pretzels.
Long Story on how we got to this picture....but there is a local horse boarding facility near our house. The owner has an old horse named Lady. Lady is 28 and deaf:) She said that if we help pay for some of Lady's food that Josie could come out to the barn and ride Lady and help take care of her. I haven't made a decision yet, but Josie is completely on board! They have two location near our house with indoor arenas and lot's of area to ride. Here is Josie with Lady.
Josie was excited about the indoor arena:)
and the outdoor one:)
On to the next week;)
