The next day we went kayaking and hung out in andreas 'back yard'....not too shabby!..well, maybe our hair was shabby.....
We had big plans of wakeboarding for saturday...but a huge storm came rolling in....andrea said it only would rain for about 10 minutes and then the sun would come out...ha ha...funny andrea...try monsoon rain and 67 degrees!! So we headed into downtown austin, rented a room at the hilton, toured the capital, drank coffee, and had massages....weather sucked, but it was still fun...here we are in front of the capital....no one was around to take our picture because it was pouring rain....

Andrea took me to a cupcake trailer that has really good cupcakes....in the rain.....
The rain finally stopped and we went out on the town...a little different from when we used to go 'out on the town' about 10 years ago.....a bit more mellow:) Here we are on 6th street, where all the college bars are...fun to people watch!

Sunday the weather returned to decent and so we went out on the boat. Andrea made mojito's..my new favorite drink....here we are on the boat....
after drinking some mojito...we decided to try and get a cool pic of us in the review mirror of the boat...not too bad....
We took the boat to carlos and charlies, a restaurant/bar on the water....It was fun to be able to just pull up to the dock and go have a pina colada!!

This is andreas back deck where I got to hang out with my good buddy, drink latte's in the morning and talk about old times and more...I sure had a great time. Thanks for all the fun and hospitality andrea and chris.....hope to see you soon!!
