Josie is now 3!! she weighs 26.8 pounds and is in the 14th percentile:) Thursday Luke and I both had to work, so we had a mini party for Josie after work.....she had to put on a 'princess' as soon as she got home....I didn't send her out in this 'revealing' dress:)
this picture is a little blurry, but it is of her ice cream cake from DQ on the day of her 'real' party..note the 'princess' she had to wear one for her b day celebration too!

My parents and Luke's parents came over on friday. My mom came to my dr's appt with me and it was confirmed we are still having a boy...now for a name.....Carol brought me some hanging baskets so we put them on the front of the house....now we just need to pour a slab and build new stairs. we have had temporary stairs for about 2 years now:)
Luke finished the fire pit in our back yard and we have planted grass seed. We had planned on having a bonfire saturday night with everyone but the weather was pretty crappy....
Josie got a pig watering can to help me water the flowers...

We got out josie's sandbox that GG gave her a long time ago, she was pretty excited!

The plan for saturday was to put up her play structure that was her b day present from us, my parents and luke's parents....here are luke and my dad sorting through the wood...It was quite a daunting task, and the weather sucked!
Tom and Carol with a smile in the crappy weather:)...note the green fuzz behind them..that is our lawn....

After two days of working on it, the playset was up! Josie loves it.

Tom, Luke and Carol....putting the finishing touches on ...sampson was helping too

sampson enjoyed the playhouse part...
Carol and I took josie to Manito Park on sunday. The weather gave us a break and it was pretty nice:)
We were trying to get josie to smile for the camera so we said 'say cheese'...but she gives the cheesiest smiles, but it's better than nothing...

The weekend did not go according to plan due to the weather, but it was still fun. Thanks to mom and dad, tom and carol and mari and harry for making josie's b day a hit!
Today we went up to the lake to check on our travel trailer and the 'mice' situation...well, let's just say when a mouse has been living in your furnace all winter and you turn it on...it doesn't smell very good! Luke has sealed off every nook and cranny so now we are just trying to kill what is living in the trailer and clean it all out! what a mess!! Now we are watching the torrential downpour of rain come down and wash out our back yard and landscaping! we have a wall of mud pouring over all our rock landscape and lawn!! I think luke is going to loose it:)
