4th of July

This 4th of july we were at the lake again. The weather was a bit shaky, but we still had fun. Here is josie playing in the sand... Saturday we went to a beach with rudy and carli and all there family, which is huge! I think there were 14 boats on the beach and they were all related! That is weird for me being an only child:) Josie had fun playing with all the little kids, and of course Lila....she is the 'naked baby'...

Sunday we left our boat and went out with my parents for a day of fishing...we did really well. Several Walleye, a perch and a fishing pole were all caught within a couple hours. At one point my line got stuck on something and so did luke's. the boat turned and our poles got tangled with my finger in the line, so instinctively I let go of my dad's really expensive fishing pole and down it went into the lake! dad was upset, but didn't let on too much. Later, Luke casted his pole out and randomly 'caught' my fishing line!! While luke was pulling in my line by hand, we were laughing saying that was the best catch of the day and it would only be better if a fish was attached to the line. Well, as luke was pulling it in a fish bit the bait and luke reeled in a fish with his hands off of my line that had been at the bottom of the lake!!

Josie even got to reel in a fish, but she was not really into touching it:) we were trying to get a picture of her with her fish, but grandpa had to hold it for her.

Monday the boys and josie went fishing for a few hours and Harry caught a trout:)

Now that the weather is back into the 90s this week, we are hoping summer is really here for good. Back up to the lake this weekend, hopefully we can get in the lake this time and it won't be too cold!!
