Easter Weekend

My parents came over this weekend for Easter and to celebrate my mom's birthday a week early. The weather was nice and we were able to play outside for the first time all year! Josie was playing soccer in the back yard. Here she is posing with my sunglasses on.

We tried to get a picture with everyone looking and smiling at the camera, but it was facing directly into the sun and the picture involved a 6 month old and almost 4 year old...here is our best shot. Josie was holding her eyes open with her fingers and landon was wondering what the heck she was doing:)

I bought a double stroller off of craigs list a few weeks back and only paid 60 bucks for it. Sometimes you get what you pay for and Luke noticed that the wheels were all wobbly and it didn't roll that great. So my dad fixed it this weekend and gave it an overhaul while Luke was working on the brick pillars of our house. Here are josie and landon testing it out.

Josie 'helped' Luke finish bricking the third pillar. She stayed outside with him until the last brick was placed. It was freezing towards the end of the evening so she got a blanket and stayed wrapped up in a chair watching her daddy.

Three years and finally we have three bricked pillars!! Now to pour the front steps and fix the tongue and groove that has warped and fallen from the saufet...It is an unending masterpiece:)
