WARNING...There are a lot of pictures in this post:)...Last week I had the week off and josie had no school due to spring break. We started out the week by going to my parents house for easter. The weather was amazing and into the 70's. Josie and Landon had fun helping my dad around the barnyard, riding Norman and riding bikes. Here is josie brushing norman.
Landon on the tractor with 'Bumpa'. That is his word for Grandpa. We went to a farm just west of Ellensburg where they had crafts, games, animals and a big easter egg hunt. Josie and Landon made bunny masks.
Landon with his mouth full of candy....this was after the egg hunt.
There was one field of 6000 eggs and hundreds of kids! They let the 1-3 year olds have a 1 minute head start...here is a pic of all the kids lining up against the fence.
Landon getting ready to 'hunt' some eggs....
The rest of the weekend we spent enjoying the weather and Landon finally got to ride Norman. He loved it:)
Easter sunday Josie lost her very first tooth! The tooth fairy brought her 1 dollar.
More riding
Landon was a little impatient with easter egg dying and decided to just eat the egg instead.
Here are the eggs dyed....plus the one landon half ate.
Josie and her missing tooth
Josie got a new bike so we did a lot of bike riding in the nice weather.

I was playing with the camera on my Ipad.
After spending a few days in Ellensburg, we came home and spent a couple days visiting friends. We went to the new Mobius Science center downtown with my friend Crystal and her son Nolan. We were also able to visit our old babysitter Jan and her family. Thursday Josie and I dropped Landon off at a friends house and headed up to Silver mountain for a girls day of skiing. Josie insisted that Puppy come with us. This was puppy's first time skiing:) Here he is on the Gondola.
The weather was so warm we were able to ski with our fleece jackets. It started to rain halfway through our day, but we still had fun.
Josie put puppy in her jacket and took him for a couple of runs.
This weekend Luke's parents came to visit for the weekend and watch the kids so we could enjoy a weekend away with friends. We spent the weekend up at Schweitzer mountain with our friends rudy and carli. Saturday the weather wasn't great so we spent the day bar hopping and hanging out in the village. They have a dummy race down the hill where people make 'dummies' on ski's and then they push them down a steep hill with a jump at the end. One dummy was laying in the snow holding a beer:) here is carli with the dummy.
Sunday the snow was falling and the conditions were pretty good. We even got to ski on some fresh powder that was amazing to ski on with my new ski's.
This is looking down at the village. the dummy race was going on to the right.
Our weekend was a lot of fun and a much needed break from being parents. Thank you Tom and Carol for watching the kids so we could go and be 'kids' ourselves!
Now it is back to the grind of school and work. It's amazing how quickly a week can go by when your having so much fun.
And...last but not least....I took 1 year pics of my friends little girl, Kali. She had a little cake that my friend made and we let her eat it....Here is baby Kali.
