January randomness

 So far this year we have spent our weekends skiing, swimming and watching the Seahawks.

 

 

 

 Josie has been doing well with her skiing, Landon says he is still 'too little' to ski, but he loves to ride the gondola on the way up the hill.

 

Spokane has been all socked in with freezing fog for over a week now. It gets pretty grey and depressing, so it was a relief to see the sun up at the top of the mountain. 

 

 

 

Landon is always tired after a trip to the mountain. He goes to the playroom while we ski, and both kids usually fall asleep for the ride home.

 One weekend they closed the mountain due to high winds so we went to the silver mountain water park instead. It is at the base of the gondola and when we bought our season passes it came with free passes to the water park. Landon Loves the big water slide that goes in the dark. Now he is asking everyone he talks to on the phone if they will go to the water park with him. We took Lila with us too.

  Last week I was at work and got a text message from my babysitter:).....this was the picture she sent me!! Thank goodness they were washable!

  Then she sent me this picture.....Landon decided to take a nap in the middle of playing.

 Luke went to the Seahawks game on sunday, so the kids and I ended up watching it with some friends on TV. Here is a blurry pic of josie and I.

Happy Birthday to my dad! (his birthday was yesterday). We love you. My parents will be coming over this weekend to hang out with the kids on friday night. Luke is having his Holiday party for Hudson Bay on friday. It will be at the Steamplant Grill downtown, so it should be fun! We are going to take my parents up to the mountain on saturday and hopefully see some sunshine! Josie is excited to show them her skiing skills.
