Thursday was Landon's 4th Birthday. He was really hoping for a huge party with a ton of friends...but, he is 4 and doesn't really have a ton of friends...so he got us:)He doesn't like cake so I bought him a cookie cake. It is a chocolate chip cookie with frosting. It was delicious.
He rarely poses decent for the camera anymore....so this was him posing with his cake.
Grandpa Tom and Grandma Carol got him some seahawks gear and this awesome seahawks pillow.
Uncle Bob and Aunt Kathy got him some money!
He passed out with his pillow that night:)
Friday was Josie's halloween party at her school. My parents came to town early so they could go. Josie was very excited.
Josie did charades...her word was Bones....all the kids were stumped....
After the party we came home and landon opened his present from my parents. They got him a big dinosaur that shoots things and roars.
Then it was time to get dressed up and go trick or treating...Josie was a snow queen and Landon was a teenage mutant ninja turtle. Landon wanted to wear his mask instead of me painting his face. Right before we left to go trick or treating Luke decided to make landon's eye holes bigger in the mask....well, he made them too big according to landon, sooo landon was very upset and didn't want to pose for a picture....
Here is Josie trying to console him and tell him to just look at the camera for the picture.
He finally decided that he didn't want to wear the mask at all....oh well, he still had fun. some houses were too scary and landon didn't want to go up to them...He was brave enough for most houses though.
this was the best photo we got of their outfits....note the huge eyes on landon's mask:)
Saturday we took the kids bowling to celebrate landon's b day again...He had never been bowling.
After we went bowling we went to Red Robin. The wait was long and Landon fell asleep while we were waiting in the lobby.
Once he woke up he had a great time.
They even sang happy birthday to him and brought him a sundae.
Landon had a pretty good time turning 4. On the morning of his birthday he said 'mom, am I 4?'...and I said 'yes'. He said 'right now?!'....He has been asking every morning if he is still 4. I still can't believe he is 4! We love you Landon Layne!
