Saturday we went to the Sprint boat races in St John. St John is about an hour or so south of here. We go every year but my parents had never been to these ones, so we loaded up bright and early and headed to the races.
It was hot and snow cones were a huge hit!
the crown seems to get bigger every year. I think they said 5-6 thousand people attend.
Landon and my dad eating pistachios and watching the races.
Today Luke woke up early and went golfing at 6am. Josie and Landon were so tired from the boat races they didn't wake up until after 10am this morning! My parents and I enjoyed some coffee and chatting on the back deck and enjoyed the peace and quiet. When Luke got back the kids gave him his presents that they had picked out. Landon got him some Sponge Bob Golf Balls and Josie got him a Golf towel.
My mom snapped a couple pics of me and my dad too.
I am very lucky to have such a great dad and grandpa to my kids. And our kids are lucky to have such a great daddy too:)
Last week Josie spent 3 days with her friend Nola. Nola and Josie have been friends since they were about 18 months old. Jan our old babysitter watched them for a long time and they have remained friends. Carmen, Nola's mom loves having Josie and keeps her for long period's of time...which josie Loves!
Carmen took a picture of the girls picking flowers in the field.
Landon also has been playing hard this summer. Carli took him to a friends house with a few other kids and he played so hard he passed out on the couch at 7pm!
This week Josie will be going to Fit Camp. She goes every year with her friend Isabel and it is free, which is nice. They play soccer and do all sorts of activities. We leave for our annual Buoy Family Sunriver Trip on Thursday after I get done with work. The kids will be racing this year, Josie, Smith and Tatum will be doing the 1mile race, Landon will be doing the half mile race and me and my sister in law will be doing the 10K. It is supposed to be hot so I think we will be spending some time at the water park there too:) Happy Fathers Day to all the dad's out there!!
