Winter is here

Looks like we are finally having a 'real' winter this year. The kids have been having fun sledding and playing in all the snow.

 We are storing the 'white trashmobile'. this K5 blazer was my first car. My dad turned it into a snowplow, and now that my parents don't need it, we get to reap the benefits.

 This is the time of year we go up to the mountain every weekend until April. Walter comes with us, he is a good little traveler. Landon loving on walter on the way to the mountain.

 Josie now ski's with her team on saturdays and sundays. Landon doesn't start his race team until after christmas so we ski with him until then. He got to ski with his friend Cal last saturday. Cal will be on his race team too.

 Walter wears his sweater this year. Last year he refused to wear it, he would just freeze and not move if it was on him.

This year our friends jared and kim are skiing at Schweitzer. Annie, their daughter is skiing on Josie's team this year and their younger daughter, Janie is skiing on Landon's team this year too. I didn't take many pictures this weekend because it was so cold my phone kept dying! Saturday the temperature was 0. I think it warmed up to 4 that day. The kids did more indoor training than outdoor but I was impressed with all of us for braving the weather! Here is a pic of me and Kim.

 Normally you don't get a team race coat unless you are on the 2 day team. But they had an extra XS coat and landon got to have it. He was so excited to 'be part of the team'.

 It's been really cold here lately. This was the temp on friday morning! -3!

Josie got invited to the coeur d'Alene santa cruise last week. She went with her friend Nola and had a great time.
