First day of school and Labor day weekend

The kids went back to school last week. Josie is in 7th grade now and Landon is in 3rd. Landon was super excited to find out that his teacher was Mrs. Jensen. Josie had her for kindergarten and 3rd grade.

 1st day of 6th grade vs 1st day of 7th.

 1st day of 2nd grade vs 1st day of 3rd.

 It's crazy how much they change in one year.

 I was able to take the kids to school on the first day. We were almost late due to me forgetting my cell phone half way to school and the line of cars that were all the parents taking their kids to school on the first day.

 My hair has started to become pretty curly and I'm struggling with how to style it!

 Labor day weekend we headed up to Lake Roosevelt to spend the weekend on the lake with my parents.

 Joey was able to come to the beach with us.He's not a huge fan of the water, but it was hot enough to dip him and keep him cool.

 Josie's friend Gabby joined us for the weekend too.

 Joey has been losing a lot of his baby teeth.

 Walter likes to chase the waves all day long. He was pretty wiped out by monday.

 Last wednesday our office went to an Indians baseball game. They took our picture with Recycle man:)

The kids are settling into school pretty well. Josie was worried because her locker was assigned in the 6th grade hall instead of the 7th grade hall. Initially she was pretty upset and there were a lot of tears shed, but she has realized that her locker is actually located in a central location and is ok with it being where it is. Landon is liking 3rd grade so far. He is playing flag football this fall and is excited for his first game this weekend.
