School's out for Summer....

They officially cancelled school for the rest of the year....Landon was pretty bummed due to not being able to see his friends. Josie was pretty excited. We had a couple days last week of cold, windy and snowy weather...so we did P.E inside. The kids were practicing one armed push ups...
Tiger king meme's still make me laugh...

We went to our friends house for dinner one night. They have been in quarantine for several weeks so we know they are a 'safe' family. Halle had a 5 pound gummy bear!
 The kids dyed easter eggs.
The weather warmed up and I was able to drink coffee in the sunshine.
Luke came up Thursday night. His birthday was on Friday. He turned 42. We went hiking in Sagle, just south of Sandpoint. The area is called Mineral Point and was a 5 mile hike. We brought Joey, but left walter at the condo because he needed a break.

In Idaho fishing is still allowed. There were a few boats out on the Lake.
Josie took this pic of a creature she found.
Our friends live near where we went hiking so we stopped by to say hi and let the kids play outside.

The kids and Joey passed out in the car on the way back to the condo. We stopped at a pizza place in Sandpoint and picked up pizza for Luke's birthday and went home to relax.
Easter Sunday the Easter bunny left the baskets outside of the condo door....
I totally feel this way lately...

Luke, Jeff and our friend Scott hid over 200 eggs in the snow for the kids. Then we had a fun easter egg hunt.

Me, Jeff, Scott, Luke, Nicole and Julie...all staying 6 feet apart!
 Landon and JR.

While hunting for eggs...Landon yelled 'Joey killed the Easter Bunny!'. I don't think Joey was the killer, but he found a white rabbit and brought it to us....

We decided to come home Sunday afternoon....I have a lot of things I want to get done at home and the kids missed being home. We had a science experiment with diet coke and Mentos yesterday. Lila and Jaxs came over to watch. I have embarked on cleaning out closets and drawers. We learned that we really don't need much to survive after living at the condo for almost a month. So, the kids have been doing their part to 'downsize' their toys and clothes and have been doing pretty well. Homework has ramped up this week and have been happy to play outside and not be in the snow:)
Luke made the kids watch Cheers when we were at the condo....Josie was a fan..Landon was not..This Meme made me laugh...
