San Diego and such

Last Wednesday our office went to San Diego for a dental conference. Everyone in our office went except one girl because she is 9 months pregnant. Our old assistant beth moved back to San Diego 2 years ago so my boss (kim)and I met up with beth and her husband one night for dinner. Beth is on the Left and Kim is on the right.
One evening we went to a party on the USS Midway. It's a retired aircraft carrier. We all got dressed up. From Left to Right...Beth, me, jaci, dr, and rita.

We had a good time and flew home sunday morning. It is always interesting going on a trip with people that you work with because they are not usually the people you would choose to go on vacation with. All in all it was a successful trip and we learned a lot. Sunday when I got home we took the boat out with rudy, carli and lila. We went to the coeur d'alene river which is on the south side of lake coeur d'alene. It was only 30 minutes from our house! Here are Lila with crazy hair and josie with her 'head band'. Josie found some of her baby headbands and has been wanting to wear them??? so she did her own hair for the boat.

There is one place where you go under a bridge and take a narrow waterway. It opens up into a lake called blue lake. The water was warm and there was hardly anyone there.

Josie wanted to try and surf so we let her try. Luke tried to get up with her but the first attempt didn't work very well. Josie did go underwater a little bit and then said she was 'done surfing'. It was good for her to see what it's like to go underwater a little bit, but Im not sure she will be raring to go surfing anytime soon:)

Landon has been crawling all over the place and getting into everything. He has been getting used to boating and we are all enjoying the warm weather finally!!
