Lincoln City

Last week Josie had her last day of kindergarten. They don't do a graduation, but Im assuming she passed:) She missed the last 2 days of school so we could go to Lincoln city for an extended weekend. I put her 1st day of kindergarten picture next to her last day...The same dress fit her:)

The last day of school Luke picked her up in the Jeep and took her out to lunch and to get her hair cut.

 We left for the coast thursday after work. we drove from here to Oregon City and stayed the night at lukes parents. Here is the general attitude of Landon in the car.

Friday we woke up and drove the rest of the way. Our friends Chris and Anndee invited us and met us there. We rented a house right on the beach. This was the view from our house. The weather was really sunny and nice. It was a bit windy and not super warm, but it was very enjoyable.

 The pictures are not organized very well in this post....so I will narrate as I go...Josie and Landon loved playing in the sand.

Landon was so tired the first night he fell asleep sitting up on the couch...a very rare thing for this boy.

 One day we put the recliners out on the deck and Josie fell asleep in the sun.

 We played a lot of cribbage.

One day we went to the Newport Aquarium. when you get there they take your picture and then try to charge you 16 dollars for it. we just downloaded it off the website.

 Here are the kids. Colin and Karter are chris and anndee's kids.

 Landon picked out a snake at the gift store and carried it everywhere.

They have a cool tunnel with sharks swimming all around.

 We hit up the outlet malls one day too...josie and landon had fun riding in the moving firetruck

 We went to DEVILS PUNCHBOWL and watched the waves crash against it. there were a lot of people surfing too...burrr

 We bought kites too...of course josie picked out a horse kite. Chris bought a big kite that you fly with 2 hands. Josie quickly learned how to do it, but I was a little worried it was going to pick her up and take her away!

 Landon was super excited to fly the horse kite. At one point he let go! I thought josie was going to loose her mind, she was so upset with him....luckily it didn't go too far and it was fine.

  Luke surprised me with my favorite...a DQ Ice Cream Cake! I am now Officially 35!!!

 Here was a group picture on the last night...my hair and attire are quite a wreck...but it's one of the only pics we have of al 4 of us.

 Of course Luke bought some beaver cups.....

We had a great time and look forward to going again some time.
