Luke and his friends, Dan, Rudy, and Luke participated in the team challenge of 24 hours for Hank. They started at 8:30am on friday morning and finished at 8:30am saturday morning. They have a different challenge every hour. The challenges ranged from building a snowman to riding bikes in the snow. They all stayed awake for the full 24 hours. Carli and I hung out with them for a while but took the kids back to the condo around 9:30 friday night. Luke and his team ended up winning the team challenge and they took second place in fundraising. Their team alone raised over $24,000! Luke took 2nd place in the individual fundraising and won a 7 night stay at a resort on Lake Pend Orielle! He also won 2 blankets, a pair of ski goggles, a mug, belt buckle, and all of us will get a 24 hours for hank jacket.
one of the challenges was pong, with footballs and garbage cans.

Luke, Rudy, Dan and Luke....11 hours in.
 Fat bike races....

Hanging out at the bar in between challenges....
The kids building snowmen in the village.
Carli and I being the support crew.
Josie and Lila had their last home series race of the season on Saturday. They met their teams at the same time that luke and his group were finishing the last run of the 24 hour race. Here is a video of all the 24 hour for hank participants on the last run.
Meanwhile, Luke had made a really cool plaque for Josie's Ski Coach and we had all the girls sign it. Jimmy has been so great with all of the girls and it sounds like he will most likely be her coach next year too.

Coach Jimmy going over the league stats with Josie. She placed 19th overall in the whole league of 30 girls, but she didn't attend every race, so she may have even been higher.
I am so thankful for Josie to have had such a great coach and mentor this year. Her confidence and skiing skills have improved so much.
This is the plaque Luke made. Jimmy is sponsered by HEAD race ski's so luke put a race ski into the plaque and had all the girls sign it. After all the parents saw what he made they were hitting Luke up to build them things too;) I think he has 2 orders for dining room tables (he made one for work) and some other crafty things:)
Luke was so exhausted he went back to the condo to sleep. I stayed and watched Josie's race. It was Slalom, which is Josie's favorite. I only caught the end of her run on this one.
After the race we get to ski with the girls, which we rarely get to do, so Carli, Lila, Josie and I spent the afternoon skiing. We had so much fun and the weather was great. Lila and Josie can out ski both Carli and I so it is fun to watch them speed down the hill.

I tried to get a video of Josie skiing. she likes to try and hit the jumps by the trees on this one run and then speeds off to race Carli:)

Awards were at 3 that afternoon. The boys had got about 2 hours sleep in and came back to watch the awards. Josie took 6th Place! Her first home series race this season she was 17th...she improved so much! We were so proud of her and she was very excited! Lila took 9th in her age category.

Landon was in Kindercamp all day. He now goes without any trouble. I ran into him and his instructor at the end of the day and asked his instructor how Landon was and if he was being a good listener...The instructor said 'he is doing awesome and he is such a good listener'....WHAT!?..at least Landon listens to others:) He had a great day skiing and they even did crafts and had an easter egg hunt:)
Luke got a medal for participating in the 24 hour race:)
Saturday night we found a babysitter who conveniently lives downstairs from our condo. She took care of the kids and they even had Easter dinner with her family. We went to the Awards dinner and auction for 24 hours for hank. Luke and his team cleaned up with a bunch of the awards. Everyone was very impressed with Luke and his fundraising.
The top 2 teams did a 'shotski'.
After the awards they have an afterparty nextdoor at the bar. We had no kids and took full advantage of it.
They had a raffle for a pair of ski's and a snowboard. They picked 2 raffle ticket numbers and then those 2 people had to do a challenge and whoever won, won the prize. The challenge was to pick a friend and have them paint your face. Needless to say, Luke won.
Here is a video of luke winning..
creepy...It was perfect though...luke snowboards and drinks coors light:)
This morning we were all pretty wiped out. They had an easter egg hunt in the village this morning so we took the kids. It was snowing and the hunt only lasted a few minutes, but the kids had fun. We came home this afternoon and dyed easter eggs.

A few random pictures....Last week there was a really cool rainbow at our house.

There is a big herd of elk that has been hanging out by our house. The other day they were right in the middle of the road. By the time I stopped and grabbed my phone to take a photo they ran off.
 I thought this was funny:)

Currently I am in 3rd place in my march madness bracket...Although that could change by tonight. The top prize is 350 bucks!

We had such a fun weekend, now we are just having a relaxing easter hanging out. Luke is cooking a roast for dinner. This week is the last week before spring break....Looking forward to Spring break for sure!!
