T-ball, Girlscouts and warm weather...

Last week Landon had his very first T ball game. My boss let me off work a little early so I could go watch. Luke was out of town so Josie went to her girl Scout event, Blessings under the bridge, with some friends. Landon is #14.

He had a great time. Meanwhile, Josie was downtown Spokane with her girl Scout group feeding the Homeless. They had made care packages to hand out and I think it was a pretty big eye opener for Josie to see how some people live. She said that a lot of them had skin problems so she was going to save the lotion that Luke brings back from hotel stays and give it to the homeless next year.

Friday morning was 'donuts with dad' at the school. It is for fathers day and the kids eat donuts with their dads in the cafeteria. Luke was still out of town, So I bought 2 donuts and let them have them for breakfast on friday morning with me:)
Friday Josie had her final girl scout event. It was a cookout at a camp ground in Liberty Lake. Siblings were not allowed to be there so my friend Lisa watched Landon while I went with Josie. They made bird houses, cooked dinner and dessert, played games and then Josie spent the night with some friends there who decided to stay.

They made firestarters. It was a toilet paper roll with dryer lint inside:)

They put hot dogs, vegetables, french fries and seasonings in aluminum foil.

 They all got awards.
Josie received the award for outstanding community service. Apparently it was her idea for blessings under the bridge.
Landon was having a water gun fight with Lisa's son trent and his friends...
He begged to spend the night, and Lisa didn't mind, so Landon slept on the trampoline with Lisa's daughter Gracey:)
Josie ended up spending the day on Saturday with her friends at the Lake and Landon stayed until early afternoon at Lisa's house. Luke got home around 4 on saturday. Sunday Luke finished the Cat area in the garage...

We were supposed to get the kittens this weekend but the lady was out of town and said she would call us sunday night when she got back into town. Well, she never called...Josie was devastated and cried herself to sleep. I called this morning and we will pick them up tonight after Josie's golf. Sunday we broke a record for heat. The kids played in the pool and ran through the sprinkler all afternoon.

Throwing water on each other while the other one was swinging was a lot of entertainment...and I had a lot of fun soaking them too:)
Landon finally mastered the monkey bars. He was very excited.

We are still having fun with the snapchat app:)

It is another hot one today, Josie has golf and Landon has T-ball...then off to get our kittens!
