We bought a map of the united states and Josie put it in her room to track where grandpa and grandma are.....
She even took stickers and made a memo at the bottom...Where grandma and grandpa are traveling.
Landon brought this home from school last week...If he were president he would RZR....that is the abbreviation for Razor.
Last saturday we got together with all our 'razor' friends and did our first annual 'Shop Hop'. They had hats and shirts made that said vfm....Valleyford Mafia...which has been a joke for a while about all of us who live in valleyford. We went to a different person's house/shop and stayed at each one for about an hour. every shop had food/drink and some had tracks and fun things to do. One of the mom's organized a scavenger hunt for the kids and each stop had a kid activity. It was also a poker run. All together there were 22 razors/side by sides. there were a few missing in this picture...This was at the first stop, our friends Joe and dee dee Kopp.
This was one of the kids activities. It had something to do with a marshmallow gun.
This was our second stop. There was a track all through the trees.
Josie and Emma. They have been friends since preschool.
At this stop you were able to draw another card in the poker hand if you made it up a certain hill climb. I think there was a broken axle and one roll over..thankfully Luke made it up without any breakage:) I made the kids get out. Here is a video of our friend Brian rolling his on the hill.
Most of the girls...
Landon and his friend Janie...they will be on the same ski team this year too.
Valleyford Mafia....
Annie Landon and Janie.
Rudy and Carli's house was one of the shop stops.
Where we live is mostly dirt roads...we drove to all the shops via dirt roads.
There were many repairs needed along the way...
This was one of the things to do at one of the stops...It was a razor teeter totter....but it broke early on.
Some people got stuck...
One of the stops had a huge track through the field..
Carli shooting a potato gun...
sunny, carli, monica, kim and myself...and landon..
We ended at the final shop with prizes and a chili feed. We collected canned food for the food bank too. It was a lot of fun. Sunday we went to the barn. Josie has been very good with Norman, here she is cleaning his hooves.
Meanwhile..Landon was at his friend Rebel's Birthday party. They went to a trampoline place and out to lunch. Rebels mom had a sheriff come to her house and see the boys. I guess he showed up with his sirens on and got on the loud speaker and said 'put your hands up' to all the boys...All the boys ran!
Landon had so much fun that now he wants to be a police officer. I went to check on him before I went to bed that night and saw that he had laid out his clothes for school the next day....He picked out a blue striped shirt with his police badge.
My parents are still out traveling...My dad bought a selfie stick so they could send better pictures:) Puppy is still making his way everywhere they go:) They are on their way home aka our house for thanksgiving and then will be off again to pick up their new 5th wheel and continue on their way. The kids love getting all their postcards and pictures of puppy.
My dad said puppy even helped empty the poo water...ewww.
But then he got a bath:)
We had our first snow on wednesday, It didn't stick around all day, but the kids were excited.
Waiting for the bus...I sat in the car:)
Josie's cat had never seen snow...
Hoping the snow keeps coming down in the mountains!
