Thanksgiving week...

Last weekend Josie took her friend Isabel out to the barn to ride norman.

 Last saturday night a bunch of our friends and kids were racing their motorcycles. The kids had a blast, a lot of their friends were there too:)

 I worked monday and tuesday last week and then my parents arrived tuesday night. We braved costco, winco, and albertsons all on the day before thanksgiving. My dad made a batch of chex mix so big we had to use a trash bag!

 My dad made our traditional carrots with brandy, brown sugar and butter...

My mom, me and Josie went shopping on friday, we didn't go until 10am. We have never been black friday shopping, it was busy but fun.Saturday we went to the barn to visit the horses. Landon rode norman. Josie found one of the girls that works at the barn. She disappeared and I found her helping move horses from pasture to pasture and feeding. She loves being at the barn.

 Sunday we went to see Santa. It was a good time to go because there was no line and the mall was actually fairly empty.

Me, my mom and the kids went to lunch and rode the carousel. My dad and luke went home to insulate and heat wrap the pipes of my parents travel trailer...the weather is getting colder and my parents will be her for a couple of weeks. We went to Tomato street, which is a really good italian restaurant. They give the kids play dough to sculpt things with. Josie made this sculpture.

This morning we woke up to a couple of inches of snow...the kids took the sleds to the bus stop this morning:)

Looks like we get to go skiing next weekend!
