The girls had a great time. We went to lunch and then spent the afternoon at the pool.
Last year Josie won the award for 'most likely to lose something'...I was so proud of her this year. She didn't lose a thing and was voted most likely to be an Entrepreneur. Apparently she would buy snacks at the camp store and then trade them for things that were worth more money like rings and fidget spinners:)
The counselors...Cosmo and Grizzly. Not real names:) they all have fake names and the kids have to try and guess their names by the end of the week.
Pool time at Jayna's.
Friday night Luke took Landon to Airway heights here in Spokane for Friday night Supercross. Landon had never done Supercross...to be honest I don't even know the difference in motocross and supercross....but he did great! He took 4th place out of 12 kids! Landon got called up by the announcer to throw stickers down before the race.
Landon's friend Logan came to try out some racing. He is 8 and had never raced so they let him race in Landon's class the 3-6 yr old kids. Landon was excited to have a friend at the track.
Landon won a big blue trophy for 4th place, but luke didn't get a picture of him with it. Saturday night Landon raced again and placed 5th overall. He fell during his second race so it put him behind a little bit.
my friend Tara, Logan's mom was there saturday night so she took a few pics.
Sunday was my friend Jane's birthday. Her daughter is Jayna who Josie went to camp with. We rented a limo and went to Lake Chelan for some wine tasting with the girls. I had never been wine tasting with kids before, It was a good time. The girls loved riding in the limo:)
When you wine taste in a limo with little girls and a bunch of moms...you pack lots of snacks:)
We went to 3 different Winery's..we started at Nefarious Cellars. Jane knows the owners so they knew we were coming. They had 'flavored water tasting' for the kids.
The girls tasted vanilla bean, Lavender, and orange water....with some chocolate squares:)
The next stop was Karma where we had lunch.
Jane, the Birthday girl...
Our last stop was a place called Mellisoni...
After a long day of wine tasting, we headed back to the pool and cooled off!
this picture is out of order, but josie and Zoey passed out in the limo on the way home:)
Landon's race results...4th place:)
I took a picture of his 4th place trophy, the big blue one. Landon said when he crossed the finish line he tried to stick his arm up in the air like the trophies do:)
out of order again..but some people at the pool brought a duck and a unicorn to to pool...The girls thought that was pretty cool.
Sunday night the girls made Jane a cake all by themselves....It over flowed all over the oven, but it actually turned out pretty well:)
