Boat Races....

Luke's company had a tent at the tri cities boat races. They are hydroplane races that they put on every year. Luke refers to it as 'nascar on the water'. Apparently it is not a place for kids....lots of alcohol and rowdiness...So my parents said they would watch the kids while luke and I went. Luke stopped at Walmart and picked up an appropriate shirt for the event:)

It was hot, but we were on the water and able to get in all day long, so it was nice:)

They even put on an airshow. It was over an hour long. There was a F22 fighter jet and a B-51 bomber. They also had other airplanes doing tricks over the river. It was pretty cool.

 Me, Kylie, and Anndee...
The area where we were was private and there were actually a lot of kids and families. Further down the shore is where it gets rowdy apparently.

We had a fun weekend kid free. It was nice to go out to dinner and hang out on the water without having to worry about the kids...Meanwhile...At Lake Roosevelt. My parents took the kids to tour Grand Coulee Dam.
when I talked to Josie on the phone, she said that they wouldn't let them go too far down into the dam because they were worried someone would bomb it. So sad that we have to be worried about that now. They had a great time though.

For Christmas last year, I bought my parents a new air inflator for the floatys on the boat. When their 5th wheel caught on fire the air pump burned up too....So I bought them a new one:) Here is my dad modeling the new air pump.
My dad taught the kids how to dive off the back of the boat...Here is landon jumping:)
My mom took a video of the kids diving...landon jumps first...then dives:)
I have been working mondays this summer to fill in for the office. So my parents took Landon to swimming on monday and then dropped the kids off at the house last night.
