Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was really quiet around here this year. Originally we were going to spend it up at our condo at Schweitzer, but the Pineapple Express showed up and melted all the snow. So we had a lazy weekend just the 4 of us. Landon lost another tooth on thanksgiving day. Yesterday he brought me his tooth pillow and said 'mom, the tooth fairy never came!'...oops...mom fail. He pointed out that his binder of football cards was on top of the pillow and it was probably too heavy for her to lift it to put the money in. She came last night:)

Josie really likes cooking and wanted to help me make stuffing. She went and grabbed her swimming goggles to cut up the onion. I used them too. It totally worked!
Dinner was good, we had the usual, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and rolls.

Josie and I worked on a hook rug she had received for her birthday a couple of years ago.We played games and friday night we went to Coeur d'alene to watch a parade and fireworks show. They do it every year but it is usually about 10 degrees outside so we haven't gone in a while. This year it was pretty warm.

Luke decided to put up Christmas lights this year. So Saturday we spent the day outside putting up lights and cleaning up around the gardens:)
Josie had a runny nose the other day and made this to help her:) she taped an empty tissue box to the side of the full one for the dirty ones and then taped cough drops to the side.

I saw this and thought it was funny:)

Josie really enjoyed volleyball this fall, so when it was over she wanted to continue. I found a group that meets once a week and practices drills and skills. She still seems to like it. She has also been doing dance on thursdays with her friend Isabel. They will do a performance in a couple of weeks at a retirement center for their christmas concert.

Now we just wait for snow....Ski racing starts dec 8th!
