Ski Season has begun....

This weekend we went to Schweitzer. They still don't have a lot of snow, but a few runs were open and we needed to make sure our kids remembered how to ski. They picked up their new team Jackets and we hit the slopes.

 Landon grew enough over the summer that he is tall enough to get on the lifts by himself.

 We took a few runs and then hung out in the lodge for a while with our friends that we haven't seen for a while. We went back to the condo watched a movie and ate some popcorn:)

 The kids had some friends over to watch a movie. Our living room isn't huge, but it fit everyone for popcorn and movie time.

It snowed about 9 inches last night so we woke up to some fresh snow! We hit the slopes pretty early before the crowds showed up. Our day ended a little early when we were riding the chair lift and every time we went under a pole it was dripping black oil all over us! My brand new Pink Coat was drenched in oil. So we went to guest services and they took my coat to have it professionally cleaned and waterproofed. So we decided to call it a day and head home. It was nice to see the sunshine and the fresh snow.

 Landon can be a challenge to ski with. He can be whiny and defiant and downright stubborn. He will start the 2 day program next weekend. That means we don't ski with him saturday or sunday....I am pretty excited for him to get to ski with his friends and me and luke be able to ski with ours:)

 This was the view outside of our condo this morning. We really like having our own place up there.

 We decorated out tree last week. Last year I talked the family into getting a fake one, and I love it!

 The kids teachers take pictures and notify parents of events through a class app called class dojo. Josie's class has been finger crocheting and her teacher posted this picture.

And Landon's teacher sent this pic of her on her birthday with the whole class.

We had Luke's Christmas party on Friday night. This Thursday is mine. The first day of ski racing is Saturday, but Josie will miss it because she has her one and only dance recital on Saturday. So I will stay home with Josie so she can go to her recital and then go up on Saturday night to Schweitzer.
