This weekend I skied with the Masters again. The Masters are a team of 'old people' who train for ski racing and practice and race just like the kids do. My friend Julie talked me into it:) It was a good time. We are not serious, so we just run the gates and laugh about how 'awesome' we are. My friend Julie bought a retro onesie to wear during our training:)
The mountain got over 4 feet of snow last week and weekend, but this week it rained so a lot of the snow melted. Landon thought it was fun to slide down the huge pile of snow by our condo.
Our friend had stopped by a couple of weeks ago so Luke could wax her kids ski's. She left a key card by accident on our table. Luke called her this weekend to ask her if she wanted it back and she said she didn't need it because she had an extra one. Turns out it's a key to the main hotel pool! So I'm not sure if it ever expires or if the key will stop working at the end of the season, but for now, we have free access to the pool and hot tubs on the mountain! We took the kids and met some friends at the pool Saturday night.
The weather took a turn for the worst today and we thought we would tough it out and it might improve. After an hour of skiing we headed into the lodge for a drink and called it a day. We picked the kids up after their morning break and headed home to watch the Superbowl.
Luke, Kal, Jeff and myself braving the rain.
That's all the pics I took this weekend. Next weekend the kids have a race both Saturday and Sunday at mt. Spokane. Hoping the weather cools off and the mountain gets some more snow!
