Happy New Year

This week we spent trying to get better from our family sickness. I think everyone I know has it. New Years eve we were well enough to do a little sledding. We Had about 10 more inches of snow this week, so it made the sledding hill a little better. We didn't stay out too long because it was about 10 degrees outside. It's been below zero at night the last few nights, so the snow has stuck around. Here is Josie getting a running start on her tube.

The improved sledding hill...Rudy and Carli and Dan and Julie (other friends) came to play. Dan and Julie have a 4 year old, Tristan, who josie liked to play with. Although, last time he came they got in a huge snowball fight and Josie lost, so she was a bit apprehensive when she saw him this time.
Josie and Lila....

We burned our christmas trees.....
Josie riding her horse, all ready to go play in the snow....

New years eve we went to Dan and Julie's house with Rudy and Carli. Josie had fun playing with Tristan and Lila...they stayed up until 10:30...then it was definitely bedtime!! We made it to midnight and came home....on the way home it was -7....brrr

Landon has really started to smile in the last week or so, but getting it on camera is a bit tough...here is the best shot of the end of a smile...

Luke and I are both on a mission to lose weight this year, so for our 'last meal' we went to one of our favorite italian restaurants in spokane. It is called 'tomato street' and there is nothing healthy about it. We enjoyed our super fattening, overly buttered bread and food while Josie played with the play dough that they have. Other than the kid that puked up in the booth next to us, lunch was great..and I get left overs for dinner!!!...Here is josie serving us dinner at tomato street....

Hope everyone has a happy new year.....
