Landon's 2nd Birthday

This weekend Luke's parents came for a visit and we celebrated Landon's 2nd Birthday. His actual birthday is on Tuesday. Friday carol and I took Landon to get his hair cut. She spiked his hair for him.

Luke wanted Landon to open his present from tom and carol early so he could play with it. They bought him a new Jeep. We put a sheet over it and then let him pull it off.

It was really cold and raining/snowing out. Landon would have played outside all day, we were freezing!

of course, Josie had to get her Jeep out too......

Friday night Josie had the Hoe Down at her school. They have a bunch of games to play and music, food and fun. Josie and I volunteered at the fishing booth for a half hour and then the rest of the gang met us so josie could play. Here is josie fishing.

they had a game with doughnuts where they had to eat them off a string without using hands.

This is Josie's friend Emily. they are in the same kindergarten class. Emily had her 6th birthday party on sunday that we went to.

Saturday we had rudy, carli and lila over to have a bbq and celebrate Landon's b day. The girls put the sprinkles on.

Landon liked the frosting...Unfortunately the blue frosting we bought didn't work! I happened to have a pink one in the pantry, so poor landon had pink frosting on his cake...I don't think he cared. Last year he didn't like his cake...this year, he still didn't like it. He just licked the frosting off and called it good. maybe next year we will get an ice cream cake:)

Of course josie and lila were helping.

He was so excited about his new drill set, he didn't want to open any other presents!

Rudy and Carli wrote this on Landon's card....They misspelled his middle name...it is spelled layne, not lane..but well let it slide:) It says..To Mr Landon Lane Love: Future Mrs Landon Lane..and the in laws:)
