volleyball, another wedding and more motocross.

Last friday Josie and Lila went out to the barn to take a lesson. Josie was excited to show lila the ropes on horse riding. they both did great.
 Lila thought it was fun.
Josie is getting to the point where she can just take off and ride on her own. She loves it.
Saturday Landon had motocross here in spokane. Josie had a volleyball game. She is still really liking it. Here is a video of her serving. They let the little ones serve a little closer to the net because they make them serve overhand.
After the volleyball game Josie and I headed to Ellensburg for a quick trip to a friends wedding. My parents were there with their 5th wheel so we stayed with them. It was a huge wedding with about 400 people. I didn't take many pictures. My dad really was there but somehow I only captured my mom and Josie and myself. Josie was bored, so she spent half the reception stacking candles and cups.

Sunday we hung out at Jeff and Les's house. It was their son Tyler that got married. They have a lot of cows and so Josie went out in the morning and got to go feed the cows and drive the 4 wheeler through the ranch. She thought that was pretty cool. We picked apples, grabbed a couple of pumpkins, had some lunch and then headed home. My parents will head south for the winter on wednesday. We will meet up with them in Mexico in November for a week of vacation and then they will be gone until may.

Landon raced his Senior 50 this weekend. It's his bigger bike that we let him ride flat track with, but not motocross. Luke let him ride it this weekend to get used to it and he did really well. Saturday he placed 3rd and Sunday he placed 5th. Luke doesn't have any time to take photos when I'm not there, so there is no photographic evidence of Landon this weekend:)
On Mondays now for the next 6 weeks, the kids are in a science club at school. Radical Rick, a local science guy who is often on the news is the one who teaches it. They kids made slime on Monday, but Landon wanted to show me another trick. If you fill a ziplock bag full of water and then put pencils through it, the water doesn't come out.
Landon's friend Mason didn't have a speed suit last year. His dad sent me this picture and text this weekend.
This made me laugh today:)
